How we check offers

Where offers come from

Every offer on FixSaver was read from the company’s own website, usually its coupons or specials page. We don’t copy offers from coupon directories, ads or mailers, because those are often out of date and the company may not honor them.

We restate each offer in plain words and keep the conditions the company attaches to it. Each company’s page links to the page on their site where the offers are published, so you can see the original.

The “checked” date

Lists and company pages show the date we last confirmed the offers on the company’s website. When a company’s specials page changes, we read it again and update, add or remove offers to match.

An offer with an end date comes off FixSaver the day after it ends.

What we leave out

  • Offers whose printed end date has already passed, even if the company’s page still shows them.
  • Offers where we can’t tell which service a discount applies to.
  • Offers that appear only on third-party sites and not on the company’s own.

Which companies you see

Each company states the area it serves. When you search by ZIP code, you see only companies whose service area reaches that ZIP. City pages show companies serving the metro area, so one at the far edge may not come to your address.

The order of a list isn’t for sale. Companies take turns, each one’s strongest offer first, so a company with many offers doesn’t fill the top of the page.

What we can’t promise

Companies set their own terms and can change or end an offer at any time, sometimes before we notice. Confirm the offer when you book. More about FixSaver is on the About page.
